Join the wonderful Siobhan Coffey in a quest for rest!
The purpose of this workshop is to really take the time to explore and connect to our meditation, vinyasa and restorative yoga practices.
We will begin by building some heat and warmth through the asana (postural) practice. Once the body has moved and stretched, we’ll practice an embodied meditation to quieten the mind. The final section will be deeply restful, we’ll be floor-bound supported by props allowing us to drop into profound rest.
Restorative yoga is deeply healing for the nervous, immune and digestive systems allowing us to take a step back from the daily stresses of life and still the mind.
A collection of props will be needed for this session, you can create your own yoga props with cushions/pillows, blankets and books/canned goods! (Check out our Make Do and Bend series for inspiration!)
