A workshop led by Laura Nowell
As life pulls our energy in multiple directions, stress, tension and pressure inevitably builds. When we hold onto this stress for extended periods of time it can lead to feeling depleted and dispirited.
While yoga can’t promise to take all that away, the practice can help bring awareness to those parts of us which need space to breathe, move and restore.
In this extended 2.5 hour session, we’ll take time to tend to ourselves. We’ll use breathing techniques to calm our nervous systems and allow our bodies to open and release in longer held postures.
We’ll use breathing exercises to calm our nervous systems and take time in longer held yoga postures allowing the body to stretch, open and release.
Tapping into the principles and philosophies of yin yoga this session is designed to nourish and regenerate through conscious breathing, mindful movement and meditation.
All bodies and histories are welcome.

About Laura:
Laura has been helping people to deepen their connection to themselves through yoga and bodywork for 7 years. She is also a somatic coach, with an insatiable curiosity for the body-mind connection and the marvellous ways the body is designed to heal itself.
