Body Wisdom is a series of specialist afternoons held on the last Saturday of every month for yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their experience of the natural moving body.
You can expect to explore and feel your own anatomy and it’s function, work with the ground and the spine to build optimised strength and move through creative flows with ease and grace.
Voice work, sound and ceremony will be integrated into the offering as powerful tools to work with the energetic body. Fern is passionate in sharing how practicing yoga in this way enables a direct conversation with our parasympathetic nervous systems and can offer truly transformative shifts in how we approach day to day life.
You can expect to feel a fusion of various styles of yoga, movement practices, a love for creativity and the mysticism of yoga. Each afternoon will focus on an anatomical theme which will be threaded through the afternoon physically and philosophically. There will be the opportunity for group discussions exploring the metaphors and insights the body offers as a means to explore the greater Self
Fern will offer opportunities for personal reflection so bring a journal a long with you.
