New Saturday Morning Yin & Meditation Class
with Amanda Wright
Starting on Saturday 5th February at 10:30am we have a new Yin class with the wonderful Amanda Wright. Join us in our cosy studio or from the comfort of your home to gently stretch into your weekend.
A delicious start to your weekend - 75 minutes of long held, deeply stretching postures, using the stillness and breath to observe the body and potentially calm the mind. The physical postures prepare the body well for a short guided meditation to really check in and open up to all that life offers.
Amanda is a devoted yoga practitioner and an experienced, qualified teacher.
She loves to teach, bringing a lightness to her classes, making them an enjoyable but learned experience.
Her study is ongoing, she partakes in at least one residential Yoga or Meditation retreat a year, and continues to further her own knowledge.
Meditation
Amanda also leads online meditation ‘sanga’ (community) classes.
Classes are 30 minutes online every Tuesdays 8:00, Thursdays 18:00, and Sunday 9:00.
She teaches from a Buddhist perspective and often uses readings to inspire the practice. It’s a great way to begin this practice of slowing down, tuning in and building some self awareness.
